It doesn’t have a strong flavor and can be shaped so many ways!  Today, I want to share how I used zucchini for ravioli, enchiladas and spaghetti.
One thing I have learned about anxiety is that it is hereditary. This has become a burden on its own, because it is quite apparent that my oldest suffers anxiety. I worry about how that will play out throughout his life, so I decided to be proactive and teach him ways to control his emotions and anxiety. Check out some tips and ideas below. Even if anxiety isn’t a struggle in your family, I promise these are helpful tips to get through those toddler and preschool tantrums too!

Too sick for school?

The mornings that trip me up are when an otherwise-healthy daughter sits picking at her breakfast and complaining that her belly “just started hurting.” Is it stomach flu? Stress? An overwhelming desire to snuggle in pajamas and watch “My Little Pony”??
April is a big month for an important but difficult topic to discuss: organ donation.
No lie and no shame, I am in the best shape of my life after having two children! And not just myself, I see my clients on the daily experience the same changes and results. I encourage you to come take a class and to get up and get moving throughout pregnancy and beyond!
So, how dare I feel confident giving my son a popsicle every day, even if it is after a dinner that he refused to eat? I make sure to pack these popsicles with as much nutrition as possible, that's how! I have had a lot of fun coming up with healthy popsicle recipes that I feel good feeding him. Every single popsicle I have made has some combination of fruits and vegetables, and then I toss in some extra healthy additions, like chia seeds, ground flax, greek yogurt, or more! The top two favorites in our house were the "Blood Orange Carrot Delights" popsicles (wow - they were so vibrant and delicious!) and also the "Spinach Strawberry Sweet Treats." (My five year old and I have fun coming up with the popsicle names - another benefit of making your own!)

My Journey With Keto

I decided that I was tired of making excuses and needed to make myself a priority this year. The whole “You can’t pour from an empty cup” thing and all.
Friday, Februrary 2nd is National Wear Red Day®. This day was meant to bring attention to the fact that heart disease is the #1 killer of women. This means that it is very likely that a woman you know will die of heart disease. By wearing red on National Wear Red day it shows that you support the efforts being made by the American Heart Association and other research institutes to curb the number of deaths that are caused by heart disease. So, along with wearing red, I urge you to consider one or two of these ways to love your heart this February.
The best way to be prepared is to plan. This takes time and coordination, but this is little to ask when it comes to the safety of our families.
Of all the things I can do to help encourage my boys to drink water, modeling water consumption is the most important, and its the one I am worst at. So, I have made it a goal to drink more water
