I was able to experience a styling session while visiting Apricot Lane Boutique in Green Bay at Bay Park Square Mall and I absolutely loved it! The biggest struggle for me is limiting myself when it comes to clothes! This was a great opportunity for me to see the latest in fall fashion!!
It was fun to have Kim pick out outfits that I never would have picked out myself. That was literally the first time I ever tried on a jumpsuit! It was actually really comfortable!!!
I loved the sleeveless floral shirt with the crisscross tank top underneath. I never would have thought to add a rust colored jacket with it, but it really brought out those colors in the shirt! It looked phenomenal!
The comfy sweater and jeans was definitely a winner, and I loved how versatile the crisscross tank was! I wore it under the first 3 outfits! It is nice to have pieces that can be worn with many different outfits. It really fits into the capsule wardrobe concept!
Lastly, you cannot go wrong with Packers/Wisconsin apparel!! I am definitely a beer, cheese, and football kind of girl, so it fit perfectly! Plus, having multiple layers really kicked it up a notch. I think that was the first time I ever wore flannel or mustard yellow!
The shoes were also really fun! The one pair of tennis shoes was really versatile and cute! The black shoes really made the jumpsuit look professional and dressy!
I really enjoyed the experience of getting styled at Apricot Lane. It was fun to step out of my comfort zone and try new things! I tried a few things that I didn’t like, and that’s okay! It’s all about finding what works best for you, whether it is for family pictures, everyday, a wedding, work attire, and so much more! You’ll definitely find it at Apricot Lane Boutique!

People often asked me, “how hard was it for you to leave your corporate job and start a business?” Not really that hard because I planned to be 100% committed. And it came down to two simple words, PASSION + FASHION, it’s what truly sets my soul on fire. I focus my shopping energy on our fabulous customers and it works out pretty great for everyone. What you may not know about me is that I actually went to school for accounting (I graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting) and obtained my CPA license. I worked as a manager in Corporate Finance and Accounting for 6 years while obtaining by Masters Degree in Business Administration. Although I do really love numbers and it helps out immensely running a small business, it just wasn’t filling up my cup. Each day, I wake up with new ideas on ways to style our amazing customers and provide them with the best possible boutique shopping experience. It’s important to find your path in life that brings you the most joy, that career path that doesn’t even feel like work and I’ve found that in running our boutiques.
